Lyft has changes their power driver bonus requirements

Being an independent contractor for Lyft, Uber and Postmates I have found it quite difficult to meet the “Power Driver Bonus” requirements for Lyft. In the past the requirements were as follows:
10% Bonus
30 hours a week total
including 10 peak hours
90% acceptance rate
20% Bonus
50 hours a week total
including 10 peak hours
90% acceptance rate
The acceptance rating was no problem at all, as I never reject a ride. But 30/50 hours including 10 peak hours (which are always late night and on the weekends) was a little hard to reach when I was jumping from Uber, Lyft and Postmates apps to stay busy through out the day in the attempt to optimize my time to the fullest.
The new change is great news for me! The new standard for the “Power Driver Bonus” is looking good with the requirements set by ride rather than by the hour.
10% Bonus
35 total rides for the week
including 15 peak rides for the week
90% acceptance rate
20% Bonus
55 total rides for the week
including 15 peak rides for the week
90% acceptance rate
