Getting the bills paid as a freelance graphic designer

CREATING PASSIVE INCOME AS A FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER

passive income as a graphic designer

To get the bills paid as a freelance graphic designer you must create passive income. There are a few things I have encountered that have been helpful in accomplishing this goal.

I have listed a few things to get you started down the path of creating passive income. Check it out.

Creating art for commissions:

As graphic designer's we all have personal projects in our archives. Redbubble is a site where you can use your personal projects to create products. This site is free to join and is a simple to use platform. The idea of this website is to allow artists to upload their personal artwork which will create an automatic rendering of all products available on Redbubble.

Hosting websites:

If you are a graphic designer, most likely you are in the business of creating websites. If you would like to create passive income, offer to host said websites. This will help to generate monthly revenue with website updates, blog updates and website management.

Sell stock photography and images:

Foap, shutterstock, Fotolia are free apps available for android and apple users. This app allowed you to upload photos to be sold as stock images.

Affiliate marketing:

Affiliate marketing allows you to promote your favorite items or services to your clients. Example: Amazon has an affiliate program that gives you code to input into your website. If you sell an item to a client through an ad or blog they have clicked through to purchase item you receive a percentage of the sale. You want to remember to keep your promoted items relevant to your clientele.
